Postcard Design
Ryan Oughtred is a Naturapathic Doctor who was also a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team from 1995-2002. His work focuses physical training and healing, nutrition and health management by using a combination of traditional and natural treatment types.
FaST SKIER POSTCARD
The FaST SKIER Program is an assessment plan that will help skiers with their performance for the winter season. I created an ultra-athletic postcard graphic that exuded energy, excitement and movement. The amazing action shots that I was supplied with helped inspire the angled graphic and coloured splashes. I also tried to incorporate the + sign that was present in Ryan’s website into his postcard to reinforce his branding. It was important to make the back look as good as the front so I used bold text and bright colors to match the energy of the front graphic.
PEAK to VALLEY E-MAILER
This Peak to Valley Fitness Program is a similar skiing service that was meant to be sent out to Ryan’s clients through e-mail. Again this graphic’s main selling point is the amazing photo and second to that is the bold typography with the + sign.
