Active Minerals International is a logistical mining company with a strong focus on the environment. They wanted to upgrade their website to showcase the wide range of minerals that they have in stock as well as the basic company information. I wanted to give the website a strong, masculine identity to go with their industry so I created two mock-ups for them to select from.
RED WEBSITE MOCKUP
This color scheme was derived from the red color in their logo and used as accents that contrast from the predominant used grey. Subtle elements complete this design such as the light waves on the header to represent mountains and the dotted world map in the background to reinforce the fact that they are an international company. A large footer was used to help users navigate their website.
BLUE WEBSITE MOCKUP
This color scheme was from the blue color of the logo. The colors and graphics used give this version a friendlier and technology feel compared to the red mock-up. In the end, this is the mock-up that the client chose among the two.
